Having provided significant public service across multiple sectors -- police, firefighting and jail/prison operations -- Brad Hompe became a national consultant to those seeking his gained knowledge and experience. In addition to his education -- a B.S. in psychology, a Masters in Public Administration, and several certifications in firefighting as well as law enforcement -- Hompe held numerous years of service in his fields prior to offering his work as a consultant across the U.S.
In his consulting work, Brad Hompe has worked with the National Institute of Corrections as a technical assistance provider/contractor, providing jail operations reviews. His work has also included Lexipol LLC in Aliso Viejo, California, where he assisted with jail policy development, implementation and training development. In Albuquerque, New Mexico, Hompe consulted with the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center toward its use of force program review as well as training and its training program development. In Ashland, Kentucky, he worked on a death/mortality review and program/policy development. His consulting work also extended to the Lake County Jail in Lake County, Indiana where he served as an operations consultant for a U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division Settlement Agreement as well as additional programs.
